During 40 Days In The Word part of our commitment is to do a Micah 6:8 mission project as a group. We needed to decide on some projects that we wanted to undertake that would be missional and fit within the Micah 6:8 framework.
OUR PROJECT:
1. Clothing Drive
Specifically collecting good used clothing that we can redistribute through various helps organizations in the LaSalle/Windsor area. Especially a need for Larger Size Adult Clothing.
2. Hair Care Products
We're collecting new and partially used hair care products to create hair care love baskets for moms of low income families through an organization in the Windsor area.
3. Hair Cuts
Going along with the hair care products we want to provide free hair cut gift certificates to these moms receiving the baskets . We'll be collecting financial donations weekly at Lifeline and online towards this.
